About Dr. Larkin
Dr. Larkin is very proud to call New Smyrna Beach home. His entire extended family is from central Florida. Dr. Larkin attended Florida State University where he received his BS degree in Biology. During his education at FSU he completed research in aquatics, participated in student government, and played Rugby.
Dr. Larkin chose to attend the University of the Pacific, School of Dentistry, in San Francisco, CA. During his education at UOP he was involved in many activities including craniofacial research, organized dentistry and community outreach. He received the American College of Dentists Award, the Pierre Fauchard Scholarship and the Delta Dental Scholarship for his leadership in organized dentistry and community outreach. Dr. Larkin was elected President of his class every year in dental school and was elected Student Body President his senior year. After earning his DDS he was accepted to the Orthodontic residency at UOP. The Orthodontic residency is a two year program of advanced education specifically in Orthodontics. Upon completion of the residency he earned a Master’s in Science Degree and a Certificate of Advanced Education in Orthodontics.
During this time in San Francisco he and his wife (Sherry) had two sons, Hunter and Riley. He and Sherry wanted to return to central Florida where their families reside. After living in a large city like San Francisco, they learned to appreciate the importance of raising their kids in a small town. They felt New Smyrna Beach’s coastal community is an ideal location to raise their family. In 2005 Dr. Larkin and his wife Sherry welcomed their third son (Sam) into their family.
As a resident of New Smyrna Beach, Dr. Larkin has been very involved in the community, both professionally and through his family.
On a more personal note, you can tell from the office décor that Dr. Larkin enjoys all types of outdoor board sports including surfing, snowboarding, wakeboarding, and kiteboarding. He and his family also enjoy the beach, fishing, hunting, and skiing together.

Payment Options
We offer a variety of payment options to meet your needs. We accept Visa and MasterCard and offer in-house financing as well as financing options through Captial One&Chase Health Advance. Automatic payments are also available. We will thoroughly explain your options, so that we can accommodate your needs. The fees of orthodontic treatment are determined by the treatment plan. The fees will be discussed during the first visit, as well as payment options.
We strive to make orthodontics affordable to everyone and we have multiple option payment plans to suit all budgets.
We also file and take assignment of orthodontic insurance after our treatment coordinator makes verification.
Insurance
If your insurance covers Orthodontic treatment, then the benifit amount specified by your policy will reduce your personal treatment cost. We will help you determin what your benifit is and what your remaining balance with us will be. Many insurance policies have a lifetime orthodontic benefit that is distinct from regular dental insurance. Remember that insurance policies vary, and we will review your insurance to determine the appropriate course of action. Once treatment has started, we will file your claims.
